About the role

As a Part Time Sales Manager, you will be the first face of the brand for growing families. You’ll congratulate new parents and grandparents, the first to introduce our new baby essentials, and the first to help prep for the first day of school, and all the big and little moments in their parenting journey.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the welcoming and inclusive environment within the store.
  • Optimize skills and talents of both yourself and your team.
  • Continuously educate yourself and your team on product styles, features, and benefits.
  • Help families navigate every moment from preemie to size 14.
  • Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits.
  • Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
  • Model service standards and omni-channel experience while coaching others to success.
  • Lead and execute an assigned business focus area through planning and detailed follow through.
  • Perform Leader on Duty supervisor responsibilities by driving results and responding to customer concerns timely and with an appropriate resolution.
  • Utilize customer feedback to identify areas of opportunity to implement actions to drive results.
  • Build customer loyalty through Company sponsored programs, including credit.
  • Offer consistent, in-the-moment feedback to the store team and raise performance concerns to the Store Manager.
  • Recognize exceptional performance through positive reinforcement and appreciation.
  • Support the store team with Asset Protection through a consistent level of customer service, safety awareness, and operational controls.

Qualifications

  • A positive and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Proficient computer and technology skills (Outlook, Excel, Web navigation, etc.).
  • A variety of skills and experiences.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • You can lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  • Stand or walk for extended periods of time; climb up and down a ladder.
  • Provide availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
