Sales Manager (Injection Molding) - New England

About the role

Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to identify and secure new customers across a diverse range of regulated and industrial manufacturing markets. Drive new business growth by building relationships with OEMs, engineers, procurement teams, operations leaders, and executive decision-makers throughout the Northeast and beyond.

Represent a full-service custom manufacturing organization offering engineered component production, tooling support, assembly services, and value-added manufacturing solutions. Conduct customer visits, capability presentations, and consultative sales discussions to position the company as a long-term manufacturing partner.

Manage the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, RFQ review, quoting, proposal development, negotiations, and new account acquisition. Collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to develop tailored solutions that align with customer requirements and production objectives. Maintain an active opportunity pipeline, CRM activity, forecasting, and account plans while serving as the primary commercial contact for both prospective and existing customers.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B manufacturing sales experience
  • Experience within plastic injection molding strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of generating and closing new business
  • Experience selling custom manufacturing, contract manufacturing, or engineered products
  • Ability to build relationships with engineers, purchasing teams, operations leaders, and executives
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing sales cycles and RFQ-driven environments
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-directed and comfortable operating independently
  • Stable career progression with a demonstrated history of sales success
