Job Purpose
The Sales Engineer at bren-Tronics, part of EnerSys and manufacturer of advanced power solutions, develops, maintains, and expands key strategic relationships with Military customers and achieves sales target objectives in assigned territory.

Compensation Range
Compensation Range: $75,000-$95,000
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Exercising discretion and independent judgment when dealing with critical matters within the organization
- Train field and sales representatives/account managers in solution-selling skills necessary to sell at good profit margins
- Aid sales and field representatives in bringing a full-sales service package to dealers and end-users
- Act as liaison between the company and the field representatives as well as facilitate business processes and assist with problem resolution
- Achieve sales goals
- Lead in the selling process and identifying customers and sales channel management; profit and loss responsibility that includes forecasting sales, tracking margins and managing costs
- DSO control
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- 5-7 years of extensive and successful sales experience or combination of education and experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Superior problem solving and analytical skills
- Superb written and oral communication skills
- The ability to understand and explain technical electrical systems and material handling
- Basic math ability; proficient in Microsoft applications
- The ability to write reports, interpret general business periodicals, manuals, and journals
General Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis
- Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch
- Must be able to differentiate colors
- This position is exposed to harmful materials such as lead/fiberglass products. Periodic blood tests are required to measure the level of lead. Precautions are taken by the company/employee to reduce the risk of exposure and help ensure everyone’s safety
- Risk of electrical shock
- This position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment. Therefore, expect varying working conditions
