Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the selling manager for the General Industry Sales Team, carrying revenue responsibility in addition to team leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals to consistently achieve revenue targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing and growing existing key accounts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement
- Allocate resources and collaborate cross-functionally to execute sales strategies and drive business objectives
- Support new product introduction (NPI) commercialization and achieve NPI sales targets
- Drive team engagement, performance, and retention
Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training And Competencies
- Proven field sales leadership experience managing and coaching geographically dispersed sales teams to achieve and exceed revenue, growth, and margin targets
- Strong B2B sales and account management background, including new business development, key account expansion, and complex opportunity management
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications or MBA a plus
- Demonstrated ability to execute sales strategy through data-driven forecasting, pipeline management, and disciplined use of CRM and sales metrics; experience with Salesforce a plus
- Customer-centric mindset with the ability to uncover customer insights, apply VOC, and deliver differentiated solutions that create measurable value
- Excellent leadership, communication, and influence skills, capable of motivating teams, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and leading through change
- Ongoing sales, product, and leadership training with high learning agility to adapt quickly in dynamic, competitive market environments
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel frequently (up to 50–70%), including driving for extended periods (up to 4 hours at a time) and air travel
- Comfortable using standard office equipment and technology, including laptop computers, mobile devices, and CRM tools
