As a Full Time Sales Manager, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You’ll congratulate new parents and grandparents, introduce them to our new baby essentials, help prep them for the first day of school, and support all the big and little moments on their parenting journey. Responsibilities

  • Become a product and brand expert of our brands to help families navigate every moment from preemie to size 14.
  • Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits.
  • Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
  • Consistently model service standards and omni-channel experience while coaching others to success.
  • Lead and execute an assigned business focus area through planning and detailed follow-through.
  • Perform Leader on Duty supervisor responsibilities by driving results and responding to customer concerns timely and with appropriate resolution.
  • Utilize customer feedback to identify areas of opportunity and implement actions to drive results.
  • Build customer loyalty through Company-sponsored programs, including credit offers.
  • Offer consistent, in-the-moment feedback to the store team and raise performance concerns to the Store Manager.
  • Recognize exceptional performance through positive reinforcement and appreciation.
  • Support the store team with Asset Protection through consistent customer service, safety awareness, and operational controls.

Qualifications

  • A positive and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Proficient computer and technology skills (Outlook, Excel, Web navigation, etc.).
  • A variety of skills and experiences.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; climb up and down a ladder.
  • Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled, with a minimum of two closing shifts a week.

Pay

Compensation for this position ranges from $19.25 - $23.25 per hour based on experience and location.
