Accountabilities
- Owning the performance, development, and operational excellence of the agency acquisition team.
- Establishing sales best practices, improving conversion performance, and ensuring prospective agencies have a seamless journey from initial interest to active platform engagement.
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team of Sign-Up Specialists by setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and supporting professional growth.
- Own team conversion metrics by establishing targets, monitoring performance, and implementing coaching or process improvements to increase results.
- Building a strong sales culture focused on accountability, urgency, consistency, and delivering a positive first experience for new agencies.
- Recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members as the sales function continues to grow.
- Create and optimize workflows, call processes, and sales methodologies to improve quality, efficiency, and scalability.
- Drive prospective agency engagement throughout the sign-up process to increase activation and early platform adoption.
- Partner with onboarding teams to ensure smooth transitions and alignment on successful agency activation.
- Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators, including conversion rates, contact-to-activation ratios, and sales activity metrics.
- Prepare performance updates and insights for leadership, highlighting trends, opportunities, and recommended actions.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to share customer feedback and improve sales enablement resources.
- Stay informed on market trends, industry changes, and competitive dynamics to refine sales messaging and strategy.
- Address escalations and operational challenges quickly to maintain a strong agency experience.
Requirements
- An experienced sales leader with a strong background in team management, performance optimization, and conversion-driven sales environments.
- Comfortable combining coaching expertise with analytical thinking to build scalable sales operations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales, sales leadership, insurance distribution, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience directly managing and developing sales teams.
- Proven experience owning conversion, pipeline, activation, or revenue-related metrics and improving performance outcomes.
- Strong coaching abilities with experience providing specific, actionable feedback to sales representatives.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and use CRM systems effectively.
- Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities.
- Experience building repeatable sales processes and improving operational efficiency.
- Insurance industry experience is preferred.
- P&C license is a plus.
- CPCU or CIC designation is preferred.

- Base salary range of $100,000-$120,000 annually.
- On-target earnings opportunity, including variable compensation, ranging from $145,000-$165,000 annually.
