Sales and Management Intern

This position is integral to our mission of providing the best shopping experience for our Guests. Interns assist with various sales, merchandising, and operational tasks under the guidance of store management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with friendly service and assist with their needs
• Recommend and assist with selecting and fitting merchandise
• Manage sales goals and maintain high standards of service
• Train and motivate teammates to improve performance
• Contribute to a positive store environment
• Complete required training and development activities

Internship Duties

• Complete Teammate Orientation, Leadership, and Recruitment sections of the Buckle Management Manual
• Provide weekly reports and updates to supervisors
• Develop and manage a product category
• Participate in monthly conference calls
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Demands

The intern must be able to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear. They must also lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
