About the role

The Sales Lot Attendant-Porter helps ensure complete customer satisfaction by moving vehicles in and around the sales area/lot, maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles and the sales lot area, preparing cars for delivery to new car owners, and transporting customers to/from their home when needed.

The ideal candidate has a high energy level, a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, and a valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record. He or she must have great communication and customer service skills, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Drives vehicles to and from sales areas and lot as needed.
  • Services vehicles with gas, oil, and water.
  • Washes and cleans vehicles as needed.
  • Helps maintain lot appearance by cleaning driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary.
  • Helps maintain sales car lot cleanliness, including windows, doors, floors, etc.
  • Handles dealer trades.
  • Transports customers to and from their home when needed and requested.
  • Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Follows all safety and security procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Unrestricted California driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
  • Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces.
  • Highly professional and dependable.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer and internet skills.
  • Must be customer service oriented.
  • Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and team members.
  • Self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strives to respect and facilitate teamwork within all departments.
  • Friendly with high energy and the willingness to go above and beyond.
  • Willing to multi-task.
  • Bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

  • No experience necessary. We are willing to train.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
