Sales Lot Attendant / Porter

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sales Lot Attendant/Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining the professional appearance of our vehicle inventory and ensuring every vehicle meets our dealership standards.

Responsibilities

• Wash, wax, vacuum, and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors to dealership standards, ensuring every customer-facing vehicle is spotless and presentation-ready.
• Move and position vehicles according to sales display standards, keep vehicle lots organized, clean, and visually appealing.
• Perform minor vehicle maintenance tasks such as fluid checks and battery assistance as needed.
• Maintain clean driveways, sidewalks, and customer areas, removing debris and ensuring a professional appearance at all times.
• Create and organize key tags for inventory vehicles.
• Monitor and communicate cleaning supply inventory needs to management.
• Report safety concerns or vehicle issues to management immediately.
• Operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Absorb and communicate other duties as needed to support dealership operations.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR) is required.
• Availability to work evenings, Saturdays, and holidays as needed.
• Strong attention to detail with pride in producing quality work.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with excellent work ethic.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform manual labor throughout the day.
• Previous experience in automotive, detailing, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle operations and maintenance is a plus.
• Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
