About the role

Cobblestone Interiors launched in 2025, bringing together the 30+ years of combined remodeling and renovation experience of Chicago remodeling pro Bill Conforti and his partner, architect Jorge Catrain.

Bill & Jorge partnered in 2025 to grow the Cobblestone Interiors division, forming a Design – Build – Remodel team grounded in experience, creativity and results.

We specialize in architect-led whole home remodels, kitchens, baths and ADU’s throughout Chicago’s premier north-side neighborhoods.

Responsibilities

• Manage every phase of the renovation process, from concept and permitting through construction and final finishes.
• Design homes around the way modern families truly live today, balancing comfort, aesthetics, flexibility and long-term value.
• Thoughtfully configure layouts to improve flow, maximize storage, enhance task lighting, and create flow between kitchens and adjacent living spaces.
• Thoughtfully plan layouts, storage, lighting and material selections to maximize both beauty and practicality in bathrooms.
• Balance style with functionality, comfort and flexibility in kitchens, creating spaces that improve daily living while adding long-term value to your home.
• Specialize in architect-led ADU renovations that maximize every square foot through creative space planning, integrated storage and highly efficient layouts tailored for modern living.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience navigating City of Chicago permitting, HOA requirements and condo board approvals.
• Experience remodeling Chicago homes, condos and historic properties.
• Thoughtful design, structural experience and real-world construction experience.
• Experience in all styles of Chicago homes and condos.
• Experience with ADU renovations, including coach houses and basement conversions to garage-top additions.
