About the role

The Sales Lead at LOFT is a key team member who supports and role models excellent customer experiences. Their focus is on delivering personalized customer experiences and providing guidance and support to associates. They collaborate with the Store Manager to become an expert on store functions, stepping in as manager when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in onboarding and developing an effective, highly engaged team.
  • Create an inclusive store environment where associates feel welcome and engaged.
  • Promote the highest visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer.
  • Utilize tools to drive a customer-focused team environment and profitable business.
  • Provide in-the-moment feedback and coaching to ensure each associate brings their best to customer interactions.
  • Build productive relationships by sharing ideas and supporting the team.
  • Stay informed on company priorities and promotions using available tools.
  • Step into the role of manager when needed.

Requirements

  • 6 months of retail sales experience (preferred)
  • Management experience (preferred)
  • Technology proficiency and ability to operate a point-of-sale system
  • Enjoying communication and coaching
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Taking initiative in making thoughtful decisions
  • Organizing, delegating, and prioritizing assignments to stay on top of deadlines

Qualifications

  • Education: Not specified
  • Experience: 6 months of retail sales experience (preferred)
  • Skills: Management experience (preferred), Technology proficient, Ability to communicate and coach, Flexible availability, Initiative in decision-making, Organizational skills, Delegation skills, Prioritization skills
