Sales & Groups Coordinator | Hotel Guest Services

About the role

The Sales Coordinator supports the Sales & Events team at the Sheraton Oceanfront in Virginia Beach, acting as the connective tissue between sales managers, event managers, and clients/guests.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and inquiries, directing leads to the appropriate Sales or Events Manager
• Provide administrative and on-the-floor support to Sales and Events Managers as needed
• Generate group resumes and BEOs (banquet event orders)
• Respond to client emails regarding bookings and group needs
• Aid in managing group room blocks
• Anticipate the needs of guests and team members, solving problems creatively and proactively

Requirements

• Experience in hotels or guest services
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Suite and multi-line phone systems
• Experience with a booking/PMS system required; LightSpeed PMS, Marriott brand systems, and CI/TY experience strongly preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and strong autonomous task execution
• A proactive, service-first mindset
