About the role

The Sales Floor Associate position at Savers / Value Village is designed to create an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment for customers, donors, and fellow team members.
• Help manage inventory and ensure merchandise is displayed attractively.
• Engage with customers to help them find items they like and answer questions about products.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Assist with donations from customers and ensure proper sorting and storage of donated items.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
