About the role
The Sales Floor Associate position at Savers / Value Village is designed to create an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming environment for customers, donors, and fellow team members.
- Help manage inventory and ensure merchandise is displayed attractively.
- Engage with customers to help them find items they like and answer questions about products.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist with donations from customers and ensure proper sorting and storage of donated items.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
- Experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
