About the role

The Sales Floor Associate position at Savers / Value Village is designed to create an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment for customers and donors
• Help manage inventory and ensure merchandise is displayed attractively
• Engage with customers to help them find items they like and answer questions
• Handle returns and exchanges according to policy
• Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a positive store atmosphere
• Support the store's efforts to promote sustainability and reuse

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Positive attitude and ability to interact with a diverse customer base
• Basic computer skills (e.g., using Microsoft Office)

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for sustainability and the impact of thrift shopping
