About the role
The Sales Floor Associate position at Savers / Value Village is designed to create an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming environment for customers and donors
- Help manage inventory and ensure merchandise is displayed attractively
- Engage with customers to help them find items they like and answer questions
- Handle returns and exchanges according to policy
- Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a positive store atmosphere
- Support the store's efforts to promote sustainability and reuse
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Positive attitude and ability to interact with a diverse customer base
- Basic computer skills (e.g., using Microsoft Office)
Qualifications
- Experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for sustainability and the impact of thrift shopping
