Sales Floor Associate

About the role

The Sales Floor Associate creates an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This position is available full-time and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to help them find items they like and answer questions about the products.
• Assist customers with transactions, including cash, credit, and debit card payments.
• Manage inventory by restocking shelves and ensuring merchandise is displayed attractively.
• Handle returns and exchanges according to store policies.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Customer service orientation.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of basic retail procedures and practices.
