About the role
The Sales Floor Associate position at Savers / Value Village is designed to create an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming environment for customers and donors.
- Assist customers with finding items they need and answer questions about products and store policies.
- Manage inventory by restocking shelves, sorting donations, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Engage with customers and donors to promote the brand's commitment to sustainability and reuse.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
