About the Role
As a Sales Executive at Traffix, you will play a vital role in achieving branch targets and company business goals. Your primary responsibility will be identifying companies experiencing challenges with their supply chain transportation network and presenting Traffix’s suite of services and expertise as an optimal solution.
A Sales Executive typically has 1-3 years of successful experience in transportation and logistics (3PL experience is an asset). A Senior Sales Executive has 4+ years of experience in the field, with 3PL experience also being an asset.
Responsibilities
- Prospect for companies that ship freight within North America
- Research companies and contacts, preparing for initial outreach
- Cold calling and/or cold emailing prospects to initiate conversations
- Identify business opportunities within new and current customers
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Monitor trends and changes in customer purchase behavior, following up to determine root causes
- Collaborate with Traffix experts to set up discovery calls and in-person meetings with prospective and existing customers
- Lead your team in generating pricing strategies that fit the client’s budget while supporting branch success
- Be accountable for monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Requirements
After working for at least 1 year in a customer sales role, you have become confident at bypassing gatekeepers, identifying decision-makers, and closing business. You are a self-starter, able to work independently, and are incentive-driven. Hunting for new business fuels your passion for sales, and you excel at cultivating lasting customer relationships. You efficiently handle client challenges and use emotional intelligence to guide interactions. As a problem solver, you generate solutions when clients present challenges. You are excited about collaborating with the Traffix team to optimize clients’ transportation networks while achieving sales success.
You are an excellent communicator, comfortable speaking with prospects ranging from warehouse staff at medium-sized companies to C-Suite executives of Fortune 500 corporations. You thrive on growth and reject complacency, constantly seeking to expand your book of business.
Pay
The annual salary range for this position is CA $70,000 to $150,000. Compensation is determined based on individual skills and relevant experience.
