Sales Executive - Urology - Maryland/Delaware/DC
About the role
Myriad Urology is seeking an Account Executive who is passionate about improving the lives of patients with prostate cancer risk and/or diagnosis. The ideal candidate will focus on developing business for Myriad Urology, promoting Prolaris®, MyRisk, and Precise to hospital systems, large Urology Group practices, and private practices focused on Urologists and Radiation Oncologists.
Job Responsibilities and Competencies
- Achieve Sales Targets
- Drive growth for Prolaris, MyRisk, and Precise by meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
- Develop and execute action plans to increase test orders and expand market share.
- Strategic Customer Engagement
- Focus efforts on urologists, urologic oncologists, pathologists, and radiation oncologists across community practices, large groups, and academic settings.
- Increase Access and Adoption
- Utilize an insightful selling model to educate providers, improve patient access to testing, and grow weekly order volumes.
- Promote Precision Oncology
- Serve as a trusted advisor and influence physicians to adopt advanced risk assessment and treatment approaches aligned with the continuum of cancer care.
- Build Strong Relationships
- Foster two-way communication with targeted physicians, understand practice economics and value drivers, and position testing as a standard of care.
- Ensure Optimal Patient Outcomes
- Advocate for treatment decisions that balance efficacy and quality of life, helping prevent over- or under-treatment.
Job Requirements
- BS/BA degree preferred and minimum of 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in medical device, pharmaceuticals, or related healthcare services.
- Experience in the urology and/or urologic oncology therapeutic area is preferred.
- Candidates must possess a strong work ethic, be self-motivated, curious, and able to work independently.
- Demonstrates values and ethics that support Myriad's mission, goals, and professional code of conduct.
- Uses discretion and professionalism as it relates to handling patient and physician information and documentation.
- Valid driver's license and driving record that meets safe and satisfactory criteria per Myriad's motor vehicle driving record policy.
- Overnight travel as needed/required.
Compensation and Benefits
Estimated on target earnings range: $182,000 – $207,000 annually (base salary + at target variable incentive compensation, uncapped bonus available)

Physical Requirements
Sedentary to light work, exerting 10–20 pounds of force frequently. Includes stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, and observing. OSHA category III—normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid, or tissue and will not require emergency care or first aid assistance.
