Key Responsibilities
- Owns business development within the Surety practice, driving prospecting strategy and pipeline growth.
- Acts as a subject matter expert in surety solutions and client advisory.
- PARTNERS WITH INTERNAL TEAMS TO ALIGN SOLUTIONS WITH CLIENT NEEDS AND ORGANIZATIONAL OBJECTIVES.
- Generates and qualifies leads through market research and networking.
- Develops and executes sales strategies to secure new clients.
- Maintains a strong understanding of client needs and delivers tailored solutions.
- MaintAINS ACCURATE SALES ACTIVITY TRACKING AND PIPELINE REPORTING.
- ENSURES HIGH-QUALITY CLIENT INTERACTIONS AND SOLUTION DELIVERY.
- CROSS-FUNCTIONAL PARTNERSHIP & INTEGRATION.
- Collaborates with internal divisions to cross-sell solutions and services.
- PARTNERS WITH STAKEHOLDERS TO DELIVER INTEGRATED CLIENT STRATEGIES.
- IDENTIFIES AND PURSUES NEW MARKET OPPORTUNITIES AND BUSINESS VENTURES.
- SUPPORTS FIRM GROWTH THROUGH PROACTIVE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS.
- STAYS INFORMED ON INDUSTRY TRENDS, COMPETITORS, AND MARKET DYNAMICS.
- CONTINUOUSLY IMPROVES SALES STRATEGIES AND CLIENT ENGAGEMENT PRACTICES.
- DELIVERS REVENUE GROWTH THROUGH NEW BUSINESS AND CLIENT EXPANSION.
- MANTAINS STRONG CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS AND SATISFACTION.
- SUPPORTS ORGANIZATIONAL GROWTH AND CROSS-SELLING INITIATIVES.
- DEMONSTRATES OWNERSHIP, INTEGRITY, AND ACCOUNTABILITY IN ALL INTERACTIONS.
Qualifications
- 2–7 years of sales experience or relevant insurance experience depending on background.
- Proven ability to generate leads and close business.
- Strong networking presence in PA, MD, DC, or VA regions.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (preferred).
- Experience with Applied EPIC (preferred).
- Property & Casualty license (preferred).
