About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team and oversee the sales and business development efforts for Esco's Pharma products in the West.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical sector on the West Coast.
- Generate leads, conduct market research, and develop strategies to expand Esco's customer base.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and meet sales objectives.
- Collaborate with the sales team to implement tactics that drive sales growth and market share.
- Showcase Esco's Pharma product portfolio to potential clients, highlighting the unique selling propositions and benefits.
- Conduct engaging product presentations, demonstrations, and webinars as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and providing exceptional customer support.
- Engage in regular communication to address concerns, inquiries, and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and competitive advantages.
- Manage the sales pipeline and update CRM systems with accurate and up-to-date information on leads, prospects, and opportunities.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and technical support, to ensure smooth product launches, promotional campaigns, and customer support.
- Represent Esco at industry-related trade shows, conferences, and events to promote products, expand networks, and gather market intelligence.
- Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical business practices at all times.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or healthcare industries.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical research and development processes.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to drive sales growth and overcome challenges.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
Location
This position is based in the Mid-Western and South-Central regions (e.g., Texas, Colorado, California, Utah, Washington) with frequent travel required within the region and occasionally nationally or internationally.
