Role Responsibilities
- Support a team of salespeople in securing high-profile sponsorship deals on behalf of premium rights holders globally
- Pro-actively prospect potential sponsors on behalf of clients across a range of categories and geographical regions
- Gain further meetings with potential sponsors
- Collaborate with the research and insights team to tailor interactions to specific brands
- Work closely with the operations and creative teams to ensure various client needs are being serviced based on direction from sales leads
- Develop client or brand-specific insights to help shape sales materials and meeting decks
- Host potential brands at events and client sites
- Build and foster relationships with both rights holder and brand stakeholders
- Assist the sales manager and sales leads in meetings and presentations
Requirements
- 1-3 years of relevant experience are preferred but not required for the role
- A baseline knowledge of the sponsorship, sports, and/or marketing/media industries are important
- High levels of influence and persuasion
- Experience working within a team setting and balancing multiple clients/projects at once
- Good levels of emotional intelligence
- A passion for sport!
