Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and industry events
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business
- Present company products and services to prospective clients, tailoring presentations to meet their needs
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals effectively while ensuring mutual satisfaction
- Achieve and surpass individual and team sales quotas, contributing to overall company growth
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop strategies that enhance sales efforts
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in B2B sales, with a strong history of meeting or exceeding targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a high degree of initiative and resilience
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and also collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Knowledge of the Chicago market and industry-specific insights are a plus
