Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow revenue from existing accounts and acquire new travel trade clients.
- Conduct virtual, and phone-based sales meetings to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Collaborate with clients on joint sales calls and promotional initiatives to drive engagement and sales.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in Salesforce.
- Partner with marketing to support campaigns and increase brand visibility.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand market presence.
- Provide market intelligence and insights to inform business strategy and client recommendations.
- Participate in weekly team calls and periodic client meetings to align on goals and performance.
- Work cross-functionally with inside sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure client satisfaction and business growth.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in travel industry sales, with established contacts in the travel trade.
- Demonstrated success in consultative selling, account management, and business development.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and high ethical standards.
- Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
