Sales Engineer Trainee
Job Summary
The Sales Trainee prepares for roles as an Account Representative or Customer Service Representative, with a training period of 12-18 months. During this period, the Sales Trainee gains experience through shadowing and participating in various training classes.
Job Duties
- Participates and succeeds in company-sponsored training classes.
- Develops competent presentation skills.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Trains in all levels of a branch including inside sales (customer service representative), outside sales (account representative), inventory, delivery, warehouse, and administrative.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Industrial Distribution or a related field.
- Achievement-oriented and self-motivated.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Able to follow through on tasks.
- Moderate computer skills, including email communication.
- Customer service oriented.
Physical Demands
Ability to travel occasionally.
