POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with sales to evaluate client needs.
- Partner with the OC’s function to understand product capabilities & execution capabilities.
- Understand the key technical, operational, and commercial challenges facing the prospective customer to assist in developing a value-added solution.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendor partners.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and applications.
- Produce equipment list and pricing
- Solicit quotes for equipment and services
- Maintain drawing block library
- Develop Pricing Review Document (PRD)
- Create Information Request Form for initial data capture for new opportunities
- Schedules technical and price review meetings
- Maintain quote schedule for timely delivery of proposal
- Actively participates in process improvement
Position Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of material handling equipment application
- Technical writing skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Ability to interface with colleagues and customers at all levels, by virtue of professional competence, integrity and personal style.

- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking or hearing
- Uses hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls
- Occasionally lifts, pushes, or pulls up to 25 pounds
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Work Environment
- Office-based position with regular visits to the manufacturing area
