You will serve as the technical authority on mechanical seal applications and pump systems, ensuring Flowserve products are specified on major global project data sheets.
Responsibilities
- OEM Account Management: Maintain and expand sales within established OEM accounts in the greater Houston area, targeting an annual territory revenue goal of $1.5M – $2.0M.
- EPC Project Coverage: Partner with leading EPC firms during front-end engineering design phases to get Flowserve specified as the primary or preferred technical solution on project data sheets.
- Technical Solution Selling: Conduct technical presentations, lunch-and-learns, and specification reviews covering mechanical seals, API pump packages, and rotating equipment systems.
- Global Alignment: Collaborate with global sales, engineering, and aftermarket teams on high-value capital projects hosted out of Houston.
- Travel: Attend domestic customer sites and occasional international quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and project summits.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience (3+ years preferred) in technical sales or applications engineering within the rotating equipment industry.
- Deep technical expertise in Mechanical Seals (API 682 standards) is highly preferred. Strong background in industrial centrifugal pumps (API 610) or turbomachinery will also be considered.
