Sales Engineer - Audio Visual

About the role

Feyen Zylstra is seeking a Sales Engineer (Account Manager) - Audio Visual for the Grand Rapids office. The role involves bringing in new clients and customers as well as maintaining existing accounts within FZ’s audio visual group.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including architects, contractors, and end-users
• Provide technical guidance and support to field teams to ensure successful project execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and resolve issues
• Manage customer expectations and ensure project delivery meets or exceeds client satisfaction
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to provide informed recommendations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field
• Experience in the audio visual industry preferred
• Knowledge of industry codes, corporate practices, processes, and standards
• Ability to travel regionally to project sites
• Preferred certifications: CTS-E/D/I, Crestron DMC-E/Programming, BiAmp TesiraFORTE & Server programming, High level AV, IT, and IoT knowledge
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
