Sales Engineer
About the role
Tri-Mation Industries is seeking a Sales Engineer to help drive the continued expansion of our custom automation business. You will identify, develop, and close opportunities for custom automation equipment and manufacturing solutions, serving as a trusted advisor to customers to improve their operations through automation technology.

Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop, and grow relationships with manufacturers across automotive, medical, consumer products, industrial, and related markets.
- Visit customers, understand production challenges, and identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
- Gather technical requirements, coordinate with engineering teams, develop proposals, and lead commercial discussions.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline, manage opportunities through CRM tools, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Increase market share, develop long-term customer partnerships, and support company growth objectives.
- Work closely with engineering, estimating, project management, and leadership teams to deliver winning solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum three years of industrial sales, automation sales, manufacturing engineering, or related experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 40-50%.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling custom automation or manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of robotics, machine vision, controls, assembly systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with automotive suppliers, OEMs, and industrial manufacturers.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
