Responsibilities
- Sells CNC-related solutions including precision measurement, gauging, and process control equipment, requiring strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, automation, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Calls management representatives, such as engineers, technical personnel, and management at commercial, industrial, and other establishments in an attempt to convince prospective clients of the desirability and practicability of products offered.
- Provides technical advice on company products and services, modifications, applications, design, and other problems.
- Prepares sales related reports and provides data for forecasting sales, competition, and market conditions.
- Conducts special promotions on specific products.
Requirements
- Preferred bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical Engineering.
- Previous experience with CNC programming, PLC, and schematics with respect to CNC and Machine Tool Industry preferred.
- 5-7 years' experience in sales for the Manufacturing Industry.
- Excellent sales, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem solver with hands-on experience.
- Extensive travel is required.
- A good driving record is essential.
