Responsibilities
- Appropriately calling on accounts in person in the required area
- Developing channel partners (distributors & representatives) in key territories and/or markets
- Single Point of Contact calling on customers in the territory on a regular basis to grow the business in all market segments
- Grow business in all market segments by calling on assigned customers on a regular basis
- Maintains active communications and relationships with respective In-House personnel
- Develop and maintain active relationships with buying influences and develop new relationships to maintain and grow customer / territory interactions
- Identify and work with customers to understand and define individual needs
- Responsible for territory/customer forecast, budgets, and cost control via company approved systems, methods, and policies
- Represent all Ruhrpumpen products including Non-OEM products as defined in sales strategies
- Partner with customers to understand project specifications and scope requirements to ensure proposals are generated to meet requirements
- Negotiate orders, including all technical, commercial, and legal terms and conditions to mutual satisfaction of all parties
- Provide new pump opportunities to Inside Sale for quoting and specifications
- Responsible for all customer / territory communications and interactions through daily update in CRM and forecast which includes industry / market / account competitive analysis to support management strategy development
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in similar roles
- Desired 5+ years of experience selling to the pump aftermarket
- Highly motivated
- Availability and willingness to travel to customer locations up to 50% of the time
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to develop and execute individual business plans
- Experience selling through channel partners is preferred
