Key Responsibilities
- Serve the customer’s needs through prompt, thorough and professional service.
- Support the company’s sales efforts in both construction and service. Work directly with sales department personnel to develop projects, project design/drawings, cost estimates, and proposal letters for presentation to customers.
- Congduct site visits to assess client needs and propose appropriate refrigeration solutions.
- Utilize the Kelvin Estimating Template or current estimating platform for all cost estimating. Adhere to all Deal Desk/Deal Scoring criteria set forth by Kelvin Group.
- Utilize Salesforce (CRM) software in a disciplined manner to enable Kelvin-wide visibility of sales performance.
- Participate and attend the Sales Meetings, seminars or training sessions as directed by RD&S management.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
Requirements
- Must have a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent.
- A Professional Engineering certification (PE) or EIT certification is a plus.
- Strong technical and mechanical knowledge of industrial or commercial refrigeration systems, including ammonia, freon, or CO2 systems.
- Problem solving skills to identify client refrigeration issues and convert them into sales opportunities.
Qualifications
- Ability to build and maintain business relationships with clients.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and complete work while traveling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- This is a client-facing role that requires a strong understanding of industrial refrigeration systems, market trends, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical decision-makers.
- The position reports directly to the VP of Sales.
