The Role
The Sales Engineer will be the owner of technical discussions and designs for new business sales engagements. This role is a growth opportunity, where your aptitude and desire for success will be more important than fulfilling all our requirements from day one.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical sales support to the sales, operations and other internal teams, and channel partners.
- Ensure client requirements are met by providing (with guidance from others) a High Level Design, and overseeing the handover from sales to project delivery.
- Own the Statement of Work for non-standard deals, ensuring it aligns with the proposed solution.
- Ensure that technical aspects of the sales process are covered prior to contract engagement.
- Prepare and present demonstrations to prospective clients that cover both commercial and technical elements.
- Support the Sales team in completing technical input for proposal and tender submissions.
- Keep up to date with advances in the customer experience/call center and card payments industries.
- When required, own and build POC scenarios using the PCI Pal platform for specific partner/enterprise requirements when necessary.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who:
- Ideally has basic experience working in SaaS solutions.
- If not, has worked in business communications (inc. contact centre), fintech and payments, and cyber security environments this would be advantageous.
- Is an excellent communicator with a passion for learning, able to gain knowledge quickly in a fast-moving marketplace and share this with audiences.
- Has a natural entrepreneurial drive and is highly motivated – keen to make a difference and a commitment to excellence in everything they do.
- Able to learn new technical skills quickly, and have a desire to grow within a role.
- Has any experience in contact centre or unified communications environments and applications: connectivity (for example, SIP trunking), integrations (using web services), and desktop applications like CRM and ERP (e.g. Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, etc).
- Has experience with B2B software sales and projects both directly and through business partners (resellers and referral partners).
- Has good written communication skills, and can produce documentation in a clear and concise manner.
- Is self-motivated, passionate, and determined, with a desire to overachieve.
- Has conversational AI experience and is comfortable working with AI companies to quickly build and test integrations.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
- Has at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the SaaS or telecommunications industry.
- Has experience with CCaaS, Conversational AI, and wider telecoms industry.
- Has experience with B2B software sales and projects both directly and through business partners.
- Has strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with CRM systems.

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
Schedule
Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
