About the role
The Sales Engineer will drive new business in the axle segment of the NAFTA automotive market, expanding their presence by leveraging its reputation for high-quality automation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Generate and grow new sales within the axle and automotive automation market
- Promote automation solutions to prospective customers
- Develop and manage customer relationships and sales strategies
- Visit customer sites to define automation concepts and opportunities
- Collaborate with technical teams to prepare proposals
- Achieve annual sales targets and manage key accounts
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience selling turnkey custom automation systems
- Automotive axle experience
- Engineering degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Experience in systems integration / automation environments
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to develop and close new business
- Strategic, self-driven, and customer-focused mindset
- Willingness to travel up to 50% (domestic & international)
