Sales Engineer
About the role
Nailor Industries, Inc. is known for its customer-focused approach to providing innovative commercial and industrial HVAC products. The Sales Engineer will assist with the selling of these products and services.
Responsibilities
- Serves customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services.
- Prepares and develops technical presentations to explain our company's products or services to customers.
- Collaborates with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
- Generates high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries.
- Researches, develops, and modifies products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs.
- Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
- Solicits and logs client feedback and evaluates the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.
- Trains other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or related field, preferred;
- Excellent mathematical and mechanical skills;
- Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills;
- The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers;
- Excellent technical and problem-solving skills;
- Good leadership and team working skills;
- Willingness to continue your sales and/or engineering education.
