Sales Engineer
About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated Aerospace Sales Engineer to join our Sales team and drive growth across non-automotive and aerospace markets.
Responsibilities
- Develop sales strategy execution and customer development within aerospace and other non-automotive markets, expanding business with OEMs, Tier suppliers, and distributors
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of RFQs and new business opportunities to support sustained growth
- Develop strong customer relationships, acting as a key liaison between customers, engineering, and manufacturing teams
- Collaborate with Business Development and Engineering to propose technical product solutions aligned with customer requirements
- Analyze cost data, market trends, and competitive benchmarks to ensure profitable pricing and positioning
- Lead contract negotiations and commercial discussions to meet revenue and margin targets
- Monitor and report on sales performance, forecasts, and key metrics, ensuring alignment with company objectives
- Contribute to short- and long-term strategic planning, supporting overall business growth initiatives
Requirements
Proven experience in technical B2B sales or sales engineering, preferably within aerospace, industrial, or related markets
Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to interpret specifications, drawings, and engineering requirements
A results-driven mindset with a proactive, self-starting approach and sense of urgency
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
Experience working cross-functionally in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
Willingness to travel up to 50%, including internationally (Canada/Mexico)
