Key Areas of Focus
- Lead and deliver in-person professional sales training programs and other learning and development initiatives designed to strengthen leadership capability and improve team performance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective consultation and needs discovery, establishing credibility as a trusted advisor and representing the full suite of FCCS programs and resources.
Job Responsibilities
- Be a facilitator of the FCCS Relationship Selling program, and other consulting engagements, learning events and programs virtually and in person, including the development of program collateral.
- Maintain exposure as a thought leader and Network Consultant via podcasts, videos, articles, and attending and speaking at FCCS and other conferences.
- Aid in the development of relevant program budgets and annual training schedule.
- Actively lead and participate in business development activities, including sales calls and presentations, relationship management, proposal creation and follow up across client groups.
- Independently resolve problems and issues within scope of assignments.
- Forge strong relationships with key client contacts to identify existing and emerging organization development client needs including on a business unit, team and individual level.
- Serve as a role model to clients and colleagues, exhibiting behaviors consistent with FCC Services Statement of Values.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a professional facilitation role, with proven ability to engage, educate, influence, and inspire diverse individuals and groups of stakeholders.
- Required knowledge of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Demonstrated experience working in a sales capacity within farm credit.
- Demonstrated experience delivering or supporting sales training.
- A Bachelor’s degree is required. Preferably in Adult Education, Training, Communications, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience translating subject matter expertise into structured learning objectives, participant-ready materials, and practical exercises, scenarios, and application tools.
- Webinar facilitation experience required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Analytical and systems thinking skills required.
- Self-driven with proven ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment when required.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, with flexibility to occasionally travel on short notice. This corresponds to approximately 16 weeks annually, with occasional full weeks on the road but not always, and limited travel crossing over to weekends.
- Preferred Certifications: A range might include Certified Professional Sales Trainer (CPST), Sales methodology certifications (e.g., DiSC Sales, Miller Heiman, Challenger, Sandler), and/or Learning & development credentials (e.g., ATD CPLP/APTD, IAF Certified Facilitator).
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or digital learning tools.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in virtual learning platforms (e.g.Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and blended learning strategies
- Experienced with artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds for room set up.
