Sales Director, Senior Living

About the Role

As Sales Director, you will meet occupancy goals and reinforce the Community’s brand by building meaningful relationships with business partners, prospects, and their families. You will collaborate with leadership to plan engaging events that generate interest in the community, ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, and embody Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values in daily interactions. This role offers a base salary plus a robust commission structure.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, develop, and implement the community’s sales and marketing plan in partnership with leadership.
  • Participate in marketing education to stay informed about resources and competitors.
  • Maintain the Welcome Home database and lead tracking system.
  • Provide community tours for potential referral sources and families.
  • Partner with, train, supervise, and direct the workflow of the Sales team.
  • Assess and coach the Sales Associate to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Lead and coordinate community outreach and events.
  • Attend seminars and conferences to promote the community.
  • Make sales calls to referral sources, potential residents, and local resources.
  • Create and conduct sales presentations for new business opportunities.
  • Develop new relationships and cultivate existing ones with medical professionals, senior organizations, and other referral sources.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales/Marketing or a related field (highly desired).
  • Previous experience in senior living (highly desired).
  • Previous supervisory or management experience (highly desired).
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Knowledge of rules, regulations, and guidelines governing assisted living facilities.
  • Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance.
  • Sufficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and/or Internet.

Physical Demands

  • Workday: 8 hours.
  • Standing: occasionally.
  • Sitting: often.
  • Walking: occasionally, short distances.
  • Bending: occasionally.
  • Stairs: occasional, but not required.
  • Climbing: seldom.
  • Kneeling: seldom.
  • Lifting: occasionally, up to 25 lbs.
  • Repetitive hand/foot use: seldom.

Working Conditions

  • May interact with hostile or emotionally upset residents, family members, etc.
  • Required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
  • Must be able to travel to different communities and medical establishments within the assigned area.

Supervision

This position supervises the Sales Team.
