About the role
We are looking for a highly successful, entrepreneurial seller to join our East Strategic Sales Team in NYC.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow a strategic portfolio of Independent Agency and Brand Direct partnerships while driving significant net new business across the region.
- Create opportunities where others may not see them -- building executive relationships, shaping media strategy, and helping agencies and brands unlock growth through Nexxen's unified advertising platform, powered by our DSP, SSP, proprietary data, AI-driven capabilities, and advanced measurement.
- Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities across the East region (NY, NJ, PA, CT, VA, MD, DE, DC).
- Build executive-level relationships with agency and brand leaders, positioning Nexxen as a long-term strategic partner -- not simply another media vendor.
- Sell across Nexxen's full portfolio of solutions, including Managed Service, PMPs, Hybrid and Self-Serve DSP, CTV, OLV, Display, Native, audience targeting, identity, data, measurement, and AI-powered capabilities.
- Develop strategic growth plans that leverage market trends, audience insights, and Nexxen's platform to uncover new opportunities and expand relationships.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends -- including AI, identity, CTV, and programmatic innovation -- and translate them into strategic client conversations.
- Lead complex sales cycles from prospecting through negotiation, close, and long-term partnership growth.
- Consistently exceed revenue goals while maintaining disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Client Success, Operations, Marketing, Solutions Engineering, and Executive Leadership to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
- Represent Nexxen as a thought leader at industry events, executive meetings, and within the independent agency community.
- Serve as a mentor and leader to the broader Sales organization by sharing best practices, market intelligence, and successful selling strategies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of success selling digital advertising, programmatic media, CTV, or ad tech solutions.
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding revenue goals through new logo acquisition, strategic account growth, and proactive business development.
- Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, including CTV, OLV, Display, PMPs, Managed Service, DSPs, SSPs, audience targeting, identity, data, and measurement.
- Established network within the agency ecosystem, with the credibility to build executive-level partnerships -- Brand Direct experience is a plus.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and translating client challenges into strategic business solutions.
- Executive presence with exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a high degree of ownership, accountability, resilience, and intellectual curiosity.
- Ability to operate independently, navigate ambiguity, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in the digital advertising, programmatic media, CTV, or ad tech industry.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in digital advertising and programmatic media.
- Experience working with a variety of clients, including independent agencies and brand direct clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
