What You'll Achieve
- Drive Regional Revenue: Take ownership of the New York region, managing and growing a dedicated book of business by partnering with top brands and agencies to consistently hit revenue targets.
- Accelerate Business Growth: Hunt for new opportunities through high-volume sales activities—including cold calling, presentations, and RFPs—while effectively qualifying incoming marketing leads.
- Expand Key Accounts: Upsell existing clients on current and new products by leveraging market insights to solve their specific advertising challenges.
- Cultivate Strategic Relationships: Build deep, trusted relationships with brand and agency contacts to understand their marketing goals and position our solutions as a must-have.
- Deliver Seamless Campaigns: Collaborate closely with Account Managers and internal teams to build, execute, and deliver strong proposals that match client expectations.
- Influence the Product Roadmap: Act as the voice of the customer by translating client feedback and market insights into actionable ideas for our internal product teams.
Skills You'll Bring
- Digital Sales Strategy: Strategic relationship builder with a proven track record of hitting or exceeding targets and growing a multi-million-dollar book of business.
- Industry Tools & Intelligence: Proficient in Salesforce (logging activity, pulling reports) and adept at leveraging Seller Crowd and trade publications for account updates.
- Core Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Superb written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders smoothly.
- Problem Solving & Discretion: Quick to solve problems, using data, analytical skills, and independent judgment to develop effective solutions.
- Business Acumen: Fundamental understanding of core business drivers, including P&L, operating statements, COGS, and revenue.
- Organization & Execution: Highly organized with sharp attention to detail in all daily tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Media, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
- Experience: Ideally 5+ years of digital advertising sales experience (publisher or tech sales) managing a book of business valued at $5.5MM+.
- Network: Established list of brand and agency contacts in the region.
- Agency Relationships: Experience working with legacy IPG and/or Omnicom agencies is a plus.
- Technical Domain: Background or experience with programmatic advertising is a plus.
What We Offer
- Competitive base pay is a part of a total rewards package which also includes benefits, an emphasis on recognition, development, and wellness.
- The reasonable estimated OTE range (base + commission) for this role is from $286,000 - $339,000 annually. The actual amount may be higher or lower. Individual compensation will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant qualifications, work location, and labor market conditions.
