About the role

The Sales Director will lead the sales efforts for Performance Food Group, focusing on expanding market share and increasing revenue through strategic partnerships and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet quarterly and annual targets.
  • Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on sales goals and strategies.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the food industry.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
