Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate existing markets and explore new opportunities within the industrial sector.
  • Lead and motivate the industrial sales team to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
  • Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness at every stage.
  • Collaborate with senior management to create annual sales budgets and monitor performance against targets.
  • Develop comprehensive sales plans aligned with company objectives, incorporating market analysis, competitor insights, and customer needs.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and partners, providing exceptional service and support to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our product portfolio, industry trends, and technological advancements to effectively position our solutions in the market.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and customer engagement abilities.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to the sales team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans for growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in technical sales, with a focus on industrial products such as valves, instrumentation, filtration, and specialty pipe.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience managing sales teams and driving performance.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Manage and exceed P & L goals from sales, profit margins, territory development, and customer development.
  • Use your knowledge of the industrial marketplace, sales, and operations to lead multiple districts strategically and tactically.

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing and leading sales teams in the industrial sector.
  • Strong understanding of the industrial marketplace and its trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
