Sales Director

About the role

The Director of Sales will report to the Group Vice President or General Manager in a designated region. This role focuses on driving sales growth, managing regional sales teams, and ensuring strategic account success.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed annual budgeted sales revenue and margin dollar performance by managing all outside and inside salespeople within the designated region.
• Meet or exceed business development goals and manage the business development pipeline.
• Ensure Strategic Business Reviews are completed for all strategic accounts in the region.
• Manage forecasts and reporting, analyzing sales trends and external market influences to aid decision-making.
• Hold performance meetings with the region's sales group.
• Coach, mentor, and support the regional sales team.
• Visit customers to protect existing business and ensure consistent processes and expectations across the region.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 in a management or supervisory capacity.
• Experience with fasteners and fastener VMI programs preferred.
• Intermediate-level proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.

• Ability to effectively interact at all levels of customer, supplier, and company organizations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Pay

Target base salary up to $125,000.
