About the role
AccountMakers has been engaged by a growing technology organization specializing in cloud infrastructure, connectivity, networking, and managed technology solutions to hire a Sales Director.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business development efforts by identifying, pursuing, and closing enterprise opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Build and expand relationships with existing customers to uncover additional opportunities and support long-term account growth.
- Develop and execute territory, account, and pipeline strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
- Lead consultative sales engagements, presentations, and solution discussions with business and technology decision-makers.
- Collaborate with channel partners, strategic alliances, and referral networks to generate opportunities and accelerate sales cycles.
- Manage the full sales process from prospecting and qualification through negotiation, forecasting, and close.
Requirements
- Experience selling enterprise technology solutions such as cloud infrastructure, networking, connectivity, managed services, SD-WAN, telecommunications, or related offerings.
- Demonstrated success driving new business development and growing strategic customer accounts within a quota-carrying sales environment.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to build credibility and influence senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers, technical evaluations, and long-term relationship development.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline while consistently achieving or exceeding revenue objectives.
- Experience working with channel partners, strategic alliances, and partner ecosystems to generate opportunities and drive business growth.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Technical fluency and the ability to effectively communicate the value of infrastructure, networking, cloud, or connectivity solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Pay
This permanent position offers a base salary of $100,000–$150,000 plus uncapped commission, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit.
Schedule
The role is a full-time, remote opportunity for candidates based in the Northern California/San Francisco Bay Area, with regular travel throughout the territory and periodic collaboration with leadership teams in Southern California.
