Training Class Start Dates

We recruit for our Sales Training Program year-round. Recruiters will contact qualified candidates once we begin interviewing for our 2026 training classes.

What You’ll Do

As a Sales Training Elevator Professional, you will gain comprehensive knowledge of our products, processes, and customer relationships. This training will prepare you to transition into a sales position and contribute to the branch's profitability. The STEP program aims to develop you as a professional and enable you to advance into executive roles, guiding our business, interacting with both internal and external customers, and building successful teams.
  • Gain comprehension of the company’s safety culture and policies through orientation and safety training
  • Learn about operations in our lines of business, including new installations, modernizations, repairs, and services
  • Complete online training modules, attend training events, and participate in branch meetings to deepen your understanding of the company and its offerings
  • Develop and deliver weekly presentations, culminating in a final presentation
  • Shadow account managers and sales representatives to gain practical insights into business markets

After Successful Completion

Upon completing the training program, you will become an Account Manager responsible for managing a list of established customers within a specific geographic area. Your role will involve providing excellent customer service, developing new customer relationships, and sharing industry expertise.

Responsibilities

- Build and sustain ongoing relationships with customers to increase their awareness of your needs - Achieve sales targets by utilizing company tools for service and repair growth and reducing cancellations - Prepare service contract bids and repair job proposals - Develop and implement capital plans, budgets, and schedules for customer needs - Maintain a thorough understanding of company products and local elevator code requirements - Identify and pursue new customer opportunities

Who we are looking for

- A Bachelor’s degree is required - Previous sales experience is preferred - Candidates must be open to relocation

Additional Information

- California hourly rate: $31.25 - Seattle salary: $65,000 - Denver salary: $60,000 TK Elevator is committed to diversity and equal opportunity.
