Sales Development Representative
About the role
A Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Weathermatic, you will qualify leads, identify sales opportunities, and leverage exploratory conversations to pitch the value of our software. You will book product demos for Account Executives and help them close deals through detailed discovery calls.
Responsibilities
- Build a strong pipeline of customers by qualifying potential leads
- Develop creative ways to engage and build rapport with prospective customers by pitching the Weathermatic value proposition
- Partner with Account Executives to successfully book Partnership Evaluations
- Set yourself up for a successful long-term tech sales career
- Become efficient with CRM technologies to manage the sales process
Requirements
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to conduct high volume phone and e-mail outreach

Qualifications
- BA/BS degree preferred and 1-3 years of professional work experience in sales and/or marketing
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You should be a great writer, speaker, and listener.
- Fearlessness - willing to hop on the phone with new people every single day and explain SmartLink’s value proposition as it relates to each individual you speak with.
- An obsession with prospect happiness - set the stage for effective sales follow-up.
