We are a 96-year-old Spokane commercial printer rebuilding into a modern, data-driven direct mail platform. You are not joining a traditional print shop. You are joining a high-growth turnaround backed by a proven tech founder, with the production muscle of a century-old operation already humming behind you.
- Real presses, real capacity, day one. You are not selling vaporware. Orders ship from a working4,000 sq ft facility in Spokane Valley.
- Candidates should be aware of local competitors like SignatureGraphics and National Color Graphics, as well as modern VC-backed competitors like Post Pilot.
- A category being rebuilt around data. ZIP-code targeting, carrier-route selection, and demographicfiltering layered on top of traditional direct mail. You will be selling to enterprise-level local businesses(furniture stores, pizza shops) that are starving for measurable marketing.
- Founding-AE leverage and fast-tracked leadership. You will help define the sales motion as thesole salesperson on day one. Expect to begin hiring and managing a team of additional AEs within 6 to12 months. The ultimate goal is for this role to transition into the General Manager within 2.5 years,eventually overseeing a separate National direct-mail campaign division.
- Uncapped earnings on a fresh territory. No legacy reps sitting on the best accounts. You will targetenterprise clients spending $5,000+ monthly, with recurring deal sizes ranging up to $40,000/month.You earn an industry-standard 8% commission on sales.
What You Will Do
Hunt new enterprise business across the Pacific Northwest, focusing on high Customer LifetimeValue (LTV) clients with recurring monthly print needs (catalogs, flyers, direct mail).
- Manage your time efficiently: Dedicate 70–80% of your time to hunting net-new logos, and 20–30% of your time farming and growing the inherited commercial print book.
- Run the full cycle: Prospect → discovery → proposal → close → expand.
- Act as a strategic partner: Work with the CEO to define pricing, packaging, and GTM feedback.
- Build account plans and maintain a forecast you can confidently defend in front of leadership.
What We Are Looking For
- Marketing Background > Print Experience: 5+ years of B2B sales experience. We highly prefer candidates with a background in modern digital marketing or ad agency sales over traditional printsales. You must be fluent in "CMO language"—understanding Cost Per Click (CPC), Cost Per Mail,Customer Lifetime Value (LTV), and campaign success metrics.
- Scrappy & Autonomous (Dealbreaker): You must be a highly independent self-starter who thriveswith minimal guidance and can handle navigating broad targets to build your pipeline.
- Proven Hunter: Examples of net-new logos you have personally closed. We are open to pulling toptalent from local digital marketing agencies or direct competitors.
- Local to Spokane / Spokane Valley: You must be in-market. Note: There is no relocation assistance for this role.
Compensation & Targets
- Base Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 (commensurate with experience).
- Commission Structure: 8% of sales, uncapped, paid on placement/billing.
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): Total compensation of $200,000+ for top performers.
- Revenue Targets: Minimum expectation of $500K/year in sales, with a stretch goal/ideal target of$1M+/year.
