About the role
The Sales Development Representative will support sales and marketing efforts by turning interest into qualified sales conversations and strengthening the systems that power our marketing engine.
Responsibilities
- Inbound Lead Follow-Up and Qualification
- Ensure inbound leads are captured, routed, and followed up with in a timely manner.
- Follow up directly with inbound leads via calls and emails to qualify interest and book sales conversations.
- Use On the Goga's qualification criteria to determine whether a lead is a strong fit.
- Maintain clear, accurate lead records in HubSpot, including lead status, source, notes, follow-up tasks, and recommended next steps.
- Track outreach activity, responses, lead source, booked meetings, and qualification outcomes to help the team understand what is converting.
- Sales Development and Outbound Outreach
- Support proactive outreach to target accounts, prospects, broker partners, and other potential referral sources.
- Research prospects and organizations to understand fit, context, and potential need before outreach.
- Send personalized emails and make outbound calls to introduce On the Goga and identify potential interest.
- Support the execution of outreach tied to campaigns, webinars, events, seasonal priorities, and other lead-generating activities.
- Attend in-person marketing and sales events including networking events, conferences, etc.
- Marketing Support
- Keep profile information, listings, descriptions, links, contacts, and sales materials accurate and up to date across third-party marketplaces, vendor databases, procurement channels, and approved partner networks.
- Support distribution of approved lead nurture content, including newsletters, campaign emails, webinar follow-ups, partner communications, and sales nurture emails.
- Maintain clean marketing systems and campaign infrastructure, including HubSpot segments, contact lists, forms, workflows, landing pages, tracking links, and follow-up steps.
- Flag errors, broken links, list issues, missing follow-up steps, or other campaign execution problems.
- Support the setup of systems that capture leads from the website, live events, content downloads, partners, referrals, and marketing campaigns.
- Monitor inbound activity from forms, website inquiries, partner channels, approved vendor sources, and referral sources.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of professional experience in a customer-facing role including sales, customer success, marketing, recruiting, admissions, nonprofit development, account coordination, or a related role.
- Experience with phone and email outreach.
- Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using a CRM or marketing platform; HubSpot experience is a strong plus.
- Comfort building emails, lists, forms, or workflows in a marketing platform.
- Comfort with basic project management and organization.
- Interest in growing a career in sales, partnerships, marketing, or revenue operations.
