The Role
Clearstory is seeking a high-energy SDR with Construction Industry experience to join our sales team. The primary responsibility is to generate sales opportunities through inbound and outbound activities. This is an ideal role for someone looking to develop their sales skills and potentially progress to an Account Executive position.
Responsibilities
- Identify and generate sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound calling and emailing activities.
- Work under pressure and think creatively to initiate relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with prospects.
- Easily initiate relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with prospects.
- Think out-of-the-box and easily initiate relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with prospects.
- Communicate effectively and maintain a positive rapport with prospects.
- Write and speak persuasively to close deals.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve overall sales goals.
- Contribute to the development and iteration of the company and sales team.
Requirements
- About You:
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Experience:
- 2+ years of Commercial Construction Industry experience, including working on the Change Order Process, as a project engineer, project manager, or other relevant roles.
- 1+ year of B2B cold-calling and CRM experience.
- Previous SDR experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of Commercial Construction Industry experience.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to write and speak persuasively; strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
