Essential Functions
- Maintaining strong relationships with current and potential customers.
- New Business - Identifying and researching potential customers and planning calls.
- Sales Reporting - Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including calls, emails, and sales appointments, using our CRM system.
- Additional Responsibilities - Proactively identify and research potential leads using various methods including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and other sales tools. Educate prospects on the features, advantages, and benefits of our products/services. Follow up with prospects to answer questions, provide additional information and overcome objections. Increase sales by regularly contacting accounts and identifying opportunities to sell our products. Meet or exceed sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction. Work closely with the Business Support team to meet customer needs. Give product presentations to customers. Keep track of customer interactions in our CRM system and update management regularly. Represent the company professionally and uphold our core values.
Requirements
- Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience. 3-5 years of direct sales experience. Experience in the uniform, apparel, or related industry preferred, but not required. Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships. Proficiency in computer skills, including using email, word processing, spreadsheets, and CRM software. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently. Ability to work well in a team and share best practices.
Physical Requirements
- Occasional lifting of 10 Lbs or less (less than 5% of the time) generally at waist level, some above/below waist, none above shoulders.
- Must be able to do desk work, which includes computer work for extended periods of time. The role requires extensive use of the telephone.
Salary Description
$27.88 per hour w/ commission portfolio.
