Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business by identifying and qualifying opportunities for managed IT and data services.
- Conduct in-person meetings with prospects and clients around Bozeman to build trust and demonstrate Ascent Data’s solutions.
- Understand customer's and prospect's short and long term goals, providing solutions aligned with their business objectives.
- Aid in developing a structured sales process that blends legacy business development with new client acquisition strategies.
- Work towards hitting sales targets and revenue goals, with unlimited commission incentives rewarding performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in IT services, cloud solutions, or data center industries.
- Proven track record of account management or sales success, closing new business opportunities.
- Strong understanding of IT services, managed services, and data solutions (or the ability to learn quickly).
- Experience working with marketing teams and aligning sales efforts with marketing strategies.
- Self-starter with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with local travel around Bozeman to meet with clients.
- Previous experience in sales or team development is a plus.
- A valid driver’s license
